Daren B. Tanner, CPA, MBA

Daren B. Tanner, CPA, MBA, has been working with financial institutions since 1996. He started his career in branch operations management for a large regional financial institution and subsequently worked as a commercial and business credit analyst at two other regional financial institutions. Daren began working exclusively with credit unions in 2003 as a credit union auditor and consultant. He is licensed as a CPA in both Oregon and Washington. Daren received his MBA from Portland State University in 1994 and was licensed by the Oregon Board of Accountancy in 2002. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Daren B. Tanner, P.C. is a certified public accounting firm dedicated to serving the credit union community. Accounting services include full opinion audit, balance sheet audit, agreed-upon procedures (supervisory committee audit), tax form preparation, internal audit, regulatory compliance review, fraud examination, and consulting. My firm is large enough to provide the professional expertise you need yet small enough to deliver the responsive service you expect. I provide services to clients located throughout Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.

My firm works exclusively with credit unions. To provide the highest level of service, I stay current with the economic, regulatory, and accounting changes affecting credit unions today. I have made a substantial investment in accounting research software, professional and trade publications, and continuing professional education so that I can provide clients with the most up-to-date information in rapidly changing economic and regulatory environments. My clients consult me when questions arise.
